OUR MISSION

A collaboration within the Oriental Orthodox Churches (Armenian, Coptic, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Indian and Syriac) the purposes, among others, for which the Organization is formed, are to uphold the dignity of each person by serving the basic needs of the poor, troubled, frail and oppressed. Collaborate with parishes, as well as non-Orthodox partners, to build a compassionate and just society.  Through a network of administered, sponsored and affiliated agencies, the Organization will deliver, coordinate, and advocate for quality human services and programs touching almost every human need. A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) comprising of members from around the world working together as One.

“Many Yet One” its meaning is derived from 1 Corinthians 12:20 “But now indeed there are many members, yet One body” to signify that TLOOC is comprised of many members from different parts of the world, but we stand as One body.

The Board members are comprised of Bishops from across all Oriental Orthodox Churches (Armenian, Coptic, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Indian and Syriac) who are represented by laymen for the day to day operations of the NGO.
